Hello,

I just joined RepSpace. I think I found it on npros, but can't quite remember. It seems like this is a very good idea for a site, but there are a few things that bug me after spending a little while fishing around. I have listed them below for your consideration.

1. The comp. plan and rankings
----It seems to me that with-holding these numbers and using terms like "at our discretion" are not in the best interest of the members. Why would rankings for posts need to be private? If nothing else, it may promote a little more activity on here by rewarding people who contribute.

Further, if you aren't sure what the monetization will be for a given period, then perhaps you should not monetize until it is more predictable. Making a statement like "we will compensate an amount at our discretion" and penalizing people who "Seem" to be only gaining rankings gives me serious integrity concerns.

2. The forums
----The forums are quite confusing to navigate. It looks like there are different categories for certain types of forums, but the way they are laid out makes it very difficult to tell what is going on. Perhaps an index with all of the forums and their latest posts would be helpful. I wanted to get on and see who was around, but there were so many different places to look, I just gave up after finding a few.

Maybe you could solve the above problem by getting rid of the majority of these forums until there is an actual NEED for them. Best I can tell, the participation on this site is very limited, and that problem gets magnified when those few people are spread across 20 different forums. This is what I think would work best for now.

-General Discussion
-Tech Questions
-Business Opportunities/Advertising

and that's it! This alone should improve the usefulness of the site.

3. Direction

I have found very little information or participation from the site moderators or admin. If you want this thing to grow, you gotta plant some seeds. Maybe it's there and i just can't find it. Is there training or a getting started guide? These things would be helpful as well.

I'd really like to see this thing take off. The concept has a lot of potential. But this site is a mess.

Hi Josh,

Great points.  I think I found it via Npros as well.  I like Npros for the news and information about the networking industry itself.  For any of us that are professional networkers, its nice to see whats going on in the industry.

I would like to see more organization within the forums and maybe if enough of us can work on it and post good information, we can begin to bring some life into it.

If we can develop a forum with good information that is directed at networking itself and some of the latest developments in areas of attraction marketing and online business building resources, we can complement the good information already on Npros.
