I looked into this before.

$499 is a RIDICULOUS amount of money to charge for entry to a launch event. The goal is for distributors to bring as many prospects as possible to the event to show them how the company is growing. $499 is prohibitive, and makes me wonder at the level of experience the company has in MLM.

This new email, this close to the event, leads me to the opinion that sign ups for the event may not be high enough to show the kind of crowd / support one needs for one of these events.

Watch for more emails as the date grows closer, offering free admission with or without the room at the Westin.

My question - how do distributors who actually paid the $499 feel when they see others are getting a freebie just for staying at the hotel? I'd be livid, and expecting a refund.
