NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--Apr. 15--TravelMax Inc., a multilevel-marketing travel agency, told about 130 employees Monday that it won't be able to make future payroll unless it finds more money.
The company, which sells tutorials to people who want to become travel agents, said it hopes to reach an agreement with an investor within 10 days. The company has hired a turnaround team that includes Santa Ana-based bankruptcy attorney Richard Marshack.
