IRVINE, Calif., Apr 27, 2012 -- Arbonne International, LLC (Arbonne) has announced the launch of its official company charitable foundation in the U.S.: The Arbonne Charitable Foundation(TM). The U.S. foundation will be a 501(c)(3) registered charity and registrations are pending for foundations in the other three countries where Arbonne currently does business -- Canada, Australia and the UK. Together, the four entities will operate collectively as the Arbonne Charitable Foundation and will work to drive support for programs that build positive self-esteem for teens.
"Arbonne has always been a company that cares. About people, the planet and producing pure, safe and beneficial products that help people change their skin and then change their life," said Kay Napier, Arbonne CEO and Arbonne Charitable Foundation (U.S.) Board Member. "Giving back has been woven through the fabric of this company since the beginning, more than 30 years ago. It was a natural extension of our corporate philosophy to establish the Arbonne Charitable Foundation and fund self-esteem initiatives that support teen girls and boys."
In addition to forming positive and strategic partnerships with established non-profit organizations, the Arbonne Charitable Foundation will support a grant program and localized volunteer events to further its mission. "We want to align ourselves with like-minded non-profits," said Wendy Peloso, Interim Director, Arbonne Charitable Foundation. "As we work to get the Foundation established, these partnerships will be a key bridge to success."
The Foundation is governed by four separate Boards of Directors, one in each in the U.S., Canada, Australia and the UK. In addition to the Board of Directors, the Arbonne Charitable Foundation includes an International Advisory Board made up of Arbonne Independent Consultants. Arbonne Charitable Foundation Mission Statement
The mission of the Arbonne Charitable Foundation is to help girls and boys, especially teens, develop the confidence to realize their true potential and reach for their dreams. Through funding, product donations and the volunteer efforts of Arbonne Angels, the Foundation supports charitable programs that empower the next generation.
National Partnership Formed
The Arbonne Charitable Foundation has established a national partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. Big Brothers Big Sisters is the largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network in the U.S., whose mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. The partnership will begin with an exciting initial roll-out of pilot programs that feature the delivery of Arbonne products and the volunteer efforts of Arbonne Angels -- the Foundation's corps of donors and volunteers. Similar partnerships with other outstanding charities will be formed in Canada, Australia and the UK.
