  Three Idaho companies were among the five to receive awards this summer from the Direct Selling Association, a national trade group for firms that manufacture and distribute goods and services sold directly to consumers.

  Scentsy, Inc., a five-year-old wickless candle maker based in Meridian, received the Rising Star Award, presented to an ?up-and-coming direct selling company that has dedicated itself to achieving a high standard of excellence in business operations,? according to a news release from the DSA.
