Reliv International Inc. opened up 24 feeding centers in northern Haiti to help combat the devastation left by Tuesday's severe earthquake.
The Missouri-based company has utilized its nonprofit foundation to distribute its health supplements to over 8,000 Haitians throughout its centers, two of which offer classrooms for children. The condition of some of its centers remains unknown due to a loss of communications with its chief center in Port-au-Prince said Barry Murov, a Reliv spokesman.
Throughout the month of January, all online donations to the Reliv Kalogris Foundation will be applied to Convoy For Hope?s disaster relief efforts, Murov said.
Convoy of Hope is known for providing food and water to people in need all over the world.
