Tahitian Noni Announces Iridoid Research Symposium

  • Tahitian Noni International (TNI) announced that the first annual International Iridoid Research Symposium will be held at TNI headquarters in Provo, Utah, on August 16th and 17th. Scientists from around the world will be presenting current research on iridoids in both plants and animals. The symposium is being presented by the International Iridoid Research Council (IIRC), which is a new organization dedicated to the sharing of information and research being conducted on iridoids. Membership in the new organization will be open to individuals, educational institutions, and companies that have completed, or are currently conducting, research on iridoids. The primary goal of the IIRC will be to share current scientific information about iridoids and their properties.

    International Iridoid Research Symposium

    The International Iridoid Research Symposium will have guest speakers from around the world who have completed iridoid research, including:

    Dr. Simla Basar, University of Hamburg, Germany Dr. Il Moo Chang, Seoul National University, Korea Dr. Shixin Deng, Tahitian Noni International, United States Dr. Biswanath Dinda, Tripura University, India Dr. Rosa Tundis, University of Calabria, Italy Dr. Irene Villasenor, University of the Philippines, Philippines Dr. Johannes Westendorf, University of Hamburg, Germany The conference will bring scientists, academics, and organizations together from all over the world to share what they are discovering about the functions of iridoids in plants and animals. Information from the conference will not only enhance the current understanding of iridoids, but also foster the increased study of iridoids.
