  • The charitable branch of Reliv International, Inc., known as The Reliv Kalogris Foundation has raised more than $60,000 during the company's annual conference held on Aug. 12-14.

Nearly $40,000 of the total funds were raised during the foundation's annual "Walk for the Mission" which had the participation of over 2,000 Reliv independent distributors.

The proceeds from The Kalogris Foundation video which was sold during the conference brought in roughly $20,000, making the final total $60,000 over the course of 3 days.

More than 42,000 people benefit from the free nutritional supplements provided by The Reliv Kalogris Foundation through 270 feeding programs in the United States as well as nine other countries.

All proceeds from Reliv's charities are applied to special projects designed to aid the foundation's feeding programs. During the past three years, Reliv has established four feeding centers and classrooms in the Philippines and Haiti, using the money raised by the walk events.

"In the last four years, we have raised $350,000 for the Reliv Foundation through our mission walk and related activities. We are blown away by the generosity of Reliv distributors." said R. Scott Montgomery, chairman of the foundation.
