    • DubLi is an auction driven company. It has two websites, usdubli.com and dubli.net, which is confusing to say the least. On usdubli.com there are several ways a person can bid for a product. In the Xpress method, the idea is to keep clicking on the price. Each time, someone clicks on the price, it drops. When it reaches the price you'd like to pay, you buy it. It would seem the obvious strategy would be to get the price down to a few dollars, but perhaps not everyone is that tuned into saving or they realize each click requires the use of credits that can be purchased through the website. The next method is Unique Bid. This is similar to the methods on other bid-on-merchandise websites. There is also a shopping mall with fixed low prices on merchandise.

They offer a Super Shopper Package which requires a monthly subscription. You get 25 credits  (tokens) that you can use to bid on the merchandise you desire, and also a 2.5% cash back incentive on Xpress merchandise and gasoline. Also included are two chances in the monthly drawing for travel, more credits, laptops computers, etc. The package sells for $15.95 US dollars.

You can also pay for up to $240 worth of credits (400), or sign up for their music on demand package which allows you access to  unlimited downloads of  "millions of songs and artists from every corner of the globe…"

If you click on Investor Relations at the bottom of the site, it takes you to MediaNet Technologies, Inc. That sites states, "MediaNet Group Technologies, Inc. is a global marketing company, centered on a value-based shopping and entertainment community that serves customers on an individualized basis by satisfying their demands, behavior, preferences and interests.  MediaNet has four primary operating subsidiaries, DubLi.com, DubLi Network, DubLi Partner and BSP Rewards." The Board of Directors are three men, Kent Lee Homstoel, COO from Denmark, Michael Hansen, U.S. based founder and CEO since 2003, and legal department head Andres Kushe of Germany.

DubLi Partners is a program that offers "30% commission on all Credits purchased through their Partner site. The Partner Program gives participating organizations a professional web presence, access to the exciting and fun shopping experience with the products offered through DubLi.com." According to the MediaNet site, DubLi has over 1,000 participants in the Partner Program.

    • Dubli Review:

Dubli is essentially the creation of Danish Networking guru, Michael Hansen, a man who has been associated with shady business tactics in the past. Dubli is marketed through a German Internet server that provides people with an online MLM program that utilizes the reverse auction concept integrated with a business opportunity.

The program functions in a similar way to eBay by integrating three types of auctions in addition to several different ways by which to bid on an item. These include Xpress bidding, Zero bidding, and Unique bidding.

"Xpress" bidding enables the bidder to purchase at their preferred price, which unlike typical online auctions; starts from the highest bid instead of the lowest. When someone clicks on "Show Price", it drops by 25 cents. If the price is right, the individual can simply purchase the item, however each time the "Show Price" button is clicked, there is a cost of 80 cents.

"ZerO" bidding is similar to Xpress bidding in that the selling price starts from the highest, however, with this bidding system, you can't purchase the product at the displayed price, but instead have to be the last bidder to click on "Show Price". Each click costs the usual 80 cents, but you will win the auction so long as you are the last bidder. Although this system is a bit more complex and makes it difficult to win an auction, you have the possibility of successfully attaining the item for just a few bids of 80 cents.

"Unique" bidding enables the bidder with the lowest bid to win the auction, but only if the bid is the lowest, and only if you are the only one who has bid that "unique" amount. This can be a very attractive method because people have a chance to win items for a fraction of the retail price.

The main task of Dubli business associates is to seek out the purchasing power of new customers and distribute the revenue across the Dubli network in the form of a recurring income.

DubLi essentially combines a shopping portal with a network marketing distribution model that provides entrepreneurs with the opportunity to earn a piece of the outgoing revenue stream from a growing Internet company. It seems that opportunities like this are most effective when the concept has never been practiced before, however companies like eBay have already established a market, having learned from the market highs and lows, economic changes, and various product trends, and it is unlikely that Dubli could replace or even compete with the current victors.
