    • Nice exciting stuff imdoggz, I was wondering if you could provide a link to some information regarding that university study, I have been unable to find it. I am interested in checking this out as well as understanding how, from an empirical perspective; turbo sculpting gloves actually activate 96% more muscle activity? How is a single product or workout routine capable of such a staggering figure?

    • Can someone explain the difference between Beachbody and Team Beachbody?

I thought Beachbody was just an affiliate program for marketing the P90x workout program, but I see it listed as an MLM and also Team Beachbody listed as an MLM.

    • If you want to whip your body into shape FAST, Beach Body P90X with Tony Horton will do it! The set includes 12 DVDs averaging 60 minutes each. These DVDs are to be done in a certain order depending on your goals (buking, toning, sculpting, etc.). You work out seven days a week with P90X and Tony Horton shows no mercy. This unisex program uses "muscle confusion" to keep your muscles guessing and to stop plateaus. Tony Horton is a magnificent instructor, say our fitness gurus, but he's tough and expects you to commit to reshaping your body. Our reviewers love the program and have seen very definite results. They warn that it's not for everyone, though. You must truly commit to changing your lifestyle and to working out HARD every day. In 90 days, you'll see a new you looking back at you into the mirror! Beach Body P90X not your cup of tea? We have reviews of dozens of workout DVDs and programs for you to read and compare.

      Jim,

Beachbody had an affiliate program and as well as an MLM. The primary product right now is the p90x program. You can earn revenue from Beachbody by either joining Team Beachbody or joining the affiliate program ( managed through Commission Junction ). Anyone can join Team Beachbody, to join under Commission Junction and market the P90X program you need to have a website that gets approved.

The p90x program is amazing. I was not involved in the company and kept seeing the infomercials and thought it was all hype.  Four months ago I went to a surprise party for a friend ( John ) I hadn't seen in months.

John used to be a pretty stocky, pudgy guy. He had clearly lost over 40 pounds. His wife ( she was already in decent shape ) had lost a lot of weight too. I asked him how he had lost the weight and when he said P90X I started laughing thinking he was joking. He was completely serious and they started talking about how they had friends who had tried it and they finally tried it. They were not involved in Team Beachbody or the Beachbody MLM or the affiliate program. They were simply people who tried the program and got dramatic results.

They did say that initially, they were not able to make it through the daily p90x workouts.

A month ago I was in a hotel and the infomercial came on. I actually watched it. When I got home, I went online and ordered the program directly from the website:  P90X.com

Total cost was $139.00. The infomercial gives you the option to make three payments, and you can do the same on the website, but you can also just pay for the entire thing up front if you wish.

You can also make just the first payment ( $39 dollars I think ) and if you hate it, send it back for a refund.

I had the p90x within five business days.

So here is the real meat of my personal p90x Review:

If you decided to suddenly eat healthier meals and excercise six out of seven days a week for about an hour, you would obviously see weight loss and muscle toning results. It's just common sense. Just eating small meals at regular intervals throughout the day increases your daily metabolism and can help you lose weight. So there is no *magic* formula with the p90x workout or the p90x workout schedule.

Mostly it is just an incentive to actually work out every day. The workouts are intense. They change every single day. I was sore ( good sore, not injury sore ) every day the first week. The workouts included things that I though were very innovative and very interesting - like Yoga. Never thought I'd break a sweat doing Yoga. That's because I never thought I would do Yoga ( just think of it as awesome stretching and balance moves that will help you whoop ass on anyone who gives you crap about doing Yoga ). There is a Kenpo workout too.

The p90x workout requires either a pullup bar ( about 20 bucks ) and two barbells ( about 40 bucks ) and a workout/Yoga mat is highly recommended.

The plan includes a nutrition guide and menu suggestions that I thought was really lame but tried it anyway and learned that its not just the menu that makes a difference - its actually eating good regular meals with a balance of protien and carbs and veggies. I was never hungry - it wasn't like a diet.

I was seeing results within five days. Legitimate results. Pants looser. Stomach felt much tighter and flatter. Sleeping better ( any excercise will do that of course ).

The number one thing about this program that I can't stress enough - it's a commitment to working out every day. You could do that alone, but for me having the incentive of the daily DVDs is what it took to actually get it done.

Tony Horton (the guy who does the DVDs for Beachbody ) is actually pretty funny. He's not ultra ripped he just looks like a normal guy in great shape who sets the pace for the excercises.

I don't know about the MLM component for the business, but I guess if you are even a decent salesperson you could sell the heck out of the program.  If you are just looking for the motivation to workout and get in better ( actually much better shape ) I can't recommend this program enough.

This from a person who has never purchased anything as seen on TV. Not even a shamwow. Lol.
