Does anyone have any info on this company? I heard about it from a friend in Newport Beach.

I looked at their signup page and something struck me as sort of odd.

There are different sign up ranks, and each includes a 'direct commission'. For example:

120 pieces of Accelerum metabogenic gum
120 pieces of Supresalin appetite control gum
$40 Direct commission
Gold for 60 days
(one time charge only)

$199.95

It seems really bizarre for me to spend $199.95 for something that includes '$40 direct commission'. Aren't they just giving me my money back? Why not just charge $159.95 and call it a day.

Any background on the executive team?

I've never heard of any of them.

There doesn't seem to be much MLM management or executive experience among the "executive team."

They are the real deal.  It is a startup, but the product is excellent!  You can give out a sample to people  and they can tell it works the first time they try it.  Not some snake oil or anything.  Check out the thier site novumgums.novumnow.com  will get you there.  Give  it a couple of weeks and you will see big changes.  The executive team is pretty strong and KPMG big wig and an infomercial fitness guru. 

It's typical for new executives to puff up their bios when they are just starting out.  Especially in this business.

Everyone has to start somewhere, and no one wants to put on their bio: "No prior experience. Wish me luck".

Has anyone actually tried to product?
