Rich Newbie or Poor Newbie Mentality?
I was a NYC educator for twenty six years and decided it was time to retire and live life on my terms. I got to a point in my life where I wanted to own my life. I was tied of the commuting, the educational administration and the daily grind. I started reading about self development, business and creating your own reality – The Secret.
I wanted my reality to have a long line of zeros behind it. A couple of books that I recommend are “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki and the “Secrets of a Millionaire Mind” by T. Harv Eker. Especially in “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” Robert explains about the Cash Flow Quadrant. How we fit into and have the mentality of an Employee, Self Employed, Business Owner or Investor. Most of us are conditioned to have an employee mentality and NOBODY can tell us aany differently. An employee mentality may have been fine during the industrial age when jobs were plentiful and there there were no other alternatives. But. we are in the 21 century and in the information age the internet affords all kinds of opportunities to the average person without a business degree but with a lot of determination, desire, drive and a clear vision of the future.
The internet marketing industry is giving the average person a vehicle to build a franchise business with a low investment, take advantage of business taxes as rich people do, make more money than working 9-5, live life on your terms, and build a secure financial future.
