      Good Afternoon,

I have... our products are naturally based, and carefully chosen to give our clients spa quality products that compliment what they are currently using.    Feel free to browse my website and view the contents of our products.    Votre Vu stands behind the quality of their products.     I wouldn't have chosen to represent them otherwise!

I currently use the Peau Equilibree line and love the results.  Our Snapdragon Beauty drink is awesome, and has also helped keep me healthy, even when my two boys came down with the flu!

      Have a great day,

      Virginia

      Hi Viginia -

I did browse your site and the products - here are some ingredients that are of concern - ceteareth-12, triethanolamine, "fragrance", methylparaben, dimethicone, cetyl alcohol, phenoxyethanl, ethylparaben, cocomidopripyl betaine ..... like I say, these are just some of many that I saw, that I would not want to be putting on my skin.

      Best of luck to you,

      Jim

      Good  Afternoon,

A brief response.. and then let's agree to disagree.... we are both proud of our companies, and I wish you all the best.

You might like to research those compounds a little further:   We are not a fully organic line, we are a naturally-based product line.  Our lab has over 80 years of experience and our product line has proven results.   Our goals are the same,  healthy, beautiful skin and hair.

Organic compounds may be classified in a variety of ways. One major distinction is between natural and synthetic compounds. They may also be distinguished by the presence of additional atoms of further elements, so-called heteroatoms

triethanolamine  is an organic pH balancer..

Dimethicone is also used widely in skin moisturizing lotions, listed as an active ingredient whose purpose is "skin protectant." Some cosmetic formulations use dimethicone and related siloxane polymers in concentrations of use up to 15%. The Cosmetic Ingredient Review's (CIR) Expert Panel, has concluded that dimethicone and related polymers are "safe as used in cosmetic formulations"

Cetyl alcohol is used in the cosmetic industry as a surfactant in shampoos, or as an emollientemulsifier orthickening agent in the manufacture of skin creams and lotions.   It is really not an "Alcohol" per se, but a solid organic compound.    It is NOT Ethyl alcohol which dries the skin...

      Etc...etc..

Enough said...   All the best to you in your future endeavors.

      Have a good day,
      Virginia

      Virginia ...

Yes, we will disagree, and it's you that needs to do more research - you are so misinformed ...

First you need to understand the differnce between the chemical definition of "organic" and the agricultural definition of organic. Heterotoms are thos tat don't  contain carbon or oxygen (typically known as "organic" compounds" - the chemistry definition of "organic:.

Let me gie you some research on the chemcials (in your so-called natural products) .. believe me, people should not be putting your products on their skin (which gets absorbed into their bloodstreams)

Phenoxyethanol: Toxic to kidney/bladder. Causes reproductive disorders, serious eye damage & brain degeneration

Long term salicylic acid use thins and weakens the skin, also making it more susceptible to sun damage

Dimethicone (silica): Harmful by skin absorption, Eye irritant, Skin irritant. Causes TUMORS in lungs, thorax & endocrine system

Sodium Laureth Sulphate (coconut): Composed of 4 known carcinogens: Formaldehyde, Dioxane, Ethylene Oxide, Acetaldehyde

Triethanolamine (TEA) - cosmetic ingredient that is also used in floor polish, pool cleaners, rug cleaners, laundry detergents & more

Clinical observation proves fragrances can affect the central nervous system, causing depression, hyperactivity, and irritability. Does you company simply label it as "fragrnce".

Not sure if any of ytour products cantain this ingredient, but my guess is they do: sodium hydroxymethylglycinate (suttocide) ... it's a preservative that releases formaldehyde (causes cancer)

Propylene glycol (PG) is a petroleum derivative. It penetrates the skin and can weaken protein and cellular structure

I could go on and on, but let me give you a link (an unbiased link) that you can use to educate yourself on the safety of ingredients .. I'll, start you off with my favorite - phenoxyethanol (here's a quick tip - if any ingredient has the letters "eth" in the name - do not use that product!)

      http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com/ingredient.php?ingred06=706639

Use this web site - type in any ingredient you may have concerns about: http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com/

There's a reason cancer is running rampant in the world - and my guess is, it's the chemcials we're feeding our bodies on a daily basis.

Too many companies could have this motto - "Yes, our products contain harmful ingredinets, but at least you'll die looking good".

      All the best to you,

      Jim

Please desist... you are trying to promote your business on a Votre Vu discussion group.    I am a Biologist and could have given much more detailed answers, but there is no point here.  But I prefer to have a professional discussion and your responses are verging on insulting.  I have researched companies like yours and  I prefer mine..    Unlike many companies, ours lists all of the ingredients in our products,   All of them...... and we have nothing to hide.

My sources for information are the "real ones"   such as  WebMD  (see an example below), Cosmeticsinfo.org,    where all of the information is outlined,  not just the words that give an "alarmist"  twist.

Another note... truly organic products need something to prevent bacterial  growth, and give some longevity to the products... even for 3 to 6 months.   Otherwise, they cannot last long, and spoil faster.   Hence they cannot really be "completely" organic.

Please do not write me anymore...  I will not be responding, but will let our products demonstrate their quality for themselves.

      Sincerely,

      Mrs. Crocker
