Having researched them all, hundreds of home based businesses, I now look at only companies which offer real verifiable savings on products or services the masses are already using and purchasing elsewhere for more.

What I discovered is very few can meet this requirement I set for any business I promote.  In a recession as severe as this one is, with uneployment on the rise now 10% plus in many areas, what is everyone looking for in a down economy?

Simple, everyone is looking to save money, plain and simple, go ahead, ask everyone you know what is most important to them in these tough times and most will say cutting back and saving money.  I research then all, and sadly, few will offer the average consumer any savings at all, in fact, in almost every case you can find the same or very similar product for less than any MLM company offers.

I challenge everyone to show me your savings on your MLM over traditional shopping outlets, and I have not found one example to date beyond the few I have found to date.  Having uncovered only three to date myself, it amazes me just how many people will join a company and not ask themselves this one important question, would I purchase this product or service without the business opportunity?  Go ahead, for those of you who are already in an MLM company, ask yourself this question and see if you made the right choice or not.

Sadly, most people cannot say they are saving money, not even when they add in their average commissions per month, or the so called distributor discount or preferred buyer price when you obligate yourself to a monthly autoship, no one is saving any money over similar products at Walmart as example. The only one that has impressed me to date is My Harvest America, an online grocery store, yes, groceries.  Everyone eats, everyone wants to save money, most want to save time, and most don't like to sell, so talk about a perfect home online business, this is it.

It is all about value in a severe recession like this, and given everyone eats, everyone has to go to the grocery store, the market is larger than with any nutritional company, travel, telecom or wireless, or any weight loss market is, in fact, there is no larger industry than food, so wouldn't it be nice to know you can talk to anyone you know or don't know and they would be interested in saving money on their groceries, and not even have to mention the business opportunity side of business.  We don't sell, we tell, sharing is caring, and who wouldn't appreciate learning about how they too could save an average of $3,000.00 a year on the same exact groceries they were purchasing locally.

Time, how valuable is your free time?  This I cannot answer, but in my case, time is money, and if you are looking to start a home business, then you need free time, right?  Well, in my average case, we save about eight hours a month not having to waste all that time grocery shopping and driving to different stores looking for loss leader sales or items which are not easily available in most stores like organic products we purchase.  With eight extra hours freed up each month, you can use this time to promote your business, in fact, this is so easy, you won't need to put in more than eight hours a month to become successful in earning an extra income from home.  Again, this is as easy as it gets, just show people your grocery order shopping and packing list with savings, we show and tell, we don't sell.
