I've got 2 new blogs over at blogger.com that I started pretty close to each other (and a 3rd one I'm deciding on right now).

Bear with me - the first one is a Quest for the best meal replacement shake - and instead of having the reviews just on my jrp.com blog, I thought I'd actually start a blogger blog and try to capture the keywords a bit.

The reviews followed afterwards.  There are a lot of "MLM Company Reviews" sites out there, that have been established for quite a while.  My biggest factor was this is a side/hobby project, and I simply don't have the time to start a whole new self-hosted blog and ever hope to rank against these more established ones in a timely manner.

Since this isn't one of my 'core' websites, I could use blogger, get some immediate google 'juice' by being on their platform and help improve my rankings a bit faster.

In my experience, blogger blogs start to rank rather quickly, with little backlink or off-page SEO, but they "top out" fast and it's much harder to get them to the top of the SERPs.  Since this is a 'side project' I can send a bit of traffic too once in a while and am using it primarily as a creative outlet, getting modest results quickly was more important than this becoming a major time-sucker while I tried to get on page 1 against bigger sites.

I know that's wordy, but I hope that helps explain my thought process!

That's a great explanation - I've seen some of your other pages in organic search engine results, so I assumed there was a sound strategy in place for why you used blogger instead of hosting under your own domain. That answered it perfectly.

If you check out the research on http://ph.BFreeSystem.com, I hear Boresha has some really good low-glycemic meal-replacement shakes that have many of the similar benefits of the coffee (fair trade, organic, natural, increase muscle, lower fat, and so on).  I have not read up on the meal replacement shakes because everyone here in Baguio keeps asking me about the coffee and tea.  But I believe my associate, Rochelle, the RN, can fill in many of the details because I believe she did a seminar about the Boresha shakes.  It might be worth speaking with her about it.

Also, at some point, I may want to speak to you about your advertising methods.

 Mostly, it's being a bit lazy and I think the virst one was done in the middle of the night. :)

I didn't want to invest the ~$10 for a url and set up a subdomain with my hosting for this - not sure I'm going to dedicate the time to really build this site to an 'authority' site.

So, some quick pick-up by google, some good content (I think) and a creative expression and let the guys who've had MLM review sites up for 10 years just keep their spots! ;)
