CieAura Complaints
I have read reports of people saying that they have been unable to receive refunds from CieAura, and that the phone lines go directly to a voice-mailbox 24-7.
I've had the same results when trying to call the company to ask about product testing and for information on their 'patent'. No one answers, and no call backs. The same with my request for information on conducting a double-bling test ( at my expense ) which is documented here: CieAura Customer Service
Are my experiences unique? Does anyone have any specific verifiable CieAura complaints about refunds or the product?
Has anyone reported to any State Attorney General or the FTC about the inability to receive a refund?
Has anyone filed a complaint directly with the FDA about the health claims?
( CieAura does make health claims: Use the CieAura EMF Chip and replace it every 4 to 8 weeks. "The EMF Chip counteracts your cell phone’s emissions and fortifies the body’s natural resistance to EMFs which occur from cell phones, especially in concentrated areas of the body, such as your ears and brains. Use the CieAura EMF Chip and replace it every 4 to 8 weeks. The EMF Chip counteracts your cell phone’s emissions and fortifies the body’s natural resistance to EMFs which occur from cell phones, especially in concentrated areas of the body, such as your ears and brains." On a page that talks about the risk of developing cancer from EMFs. That's a health claim. Even though the same page has a disclaimer that says " No statement contained in this writing, and no information provided by any CieAura employee or retailer, should be construed as a claim or representation that these products are intended for use in the diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment or prevention of disease or any other medical condition. "
That sounds like a mitigating health claim to me.
