Does anyone have any more info on this company?

I received an email referral, but I could not find any info on the company on the website.

No address, no execs, and as far as I can tell the entire business is selling 38 emergency information stickers for 500.00.  ( Reminds me of NuConcepts in Travel, selling Orange Travel Agent Stickers for 500.00 a pop, 5000.00 for a roll of 10 )

Is this deal all smoke and mirrors?

Don't Judge a book by its cover.. NPROS did not even take the time to evaluate our service the right way.

If you want to evalute our service please contact Mike or Deb Clemente

at 401-615-0968.... The service provides a life saving database for children who go missing and adults who have a medical emergency. It is a protected and on line service for $19.95 cents per YEAR.. that police and hospitals can access immeditely...

The reason Tim does not want the company executives on the website is because there are two many companies that do that and brag about how much experience they have and how many millions of dollars they created etc.. OUR company is about TEAM not the company executives. It is about a mission not about creating wealth.. If you are looking for a fast buck this is not the company you want, but if you are looking for a stable company with a unique service that EVERYONE needs and can afford and want to put the misison first and help create awareness then you may want to take another look.

This clip from the news is what NPROS should be looking at . http://www.abc6.com/news/semassachusetts/34178274.html

The service has been endorsed by several law enfocement agencies and is a great fundraising service.

Please contact us for a full evaluation.  missingchildrenhelp@hotmail.com..

There are no smoking mirrors here just plain truth that NPROS has not taken the time to evaluate the proper way.

I invite them to call me also so that we can show them the value of this service..

Deb and I wanted to advertise on this site but due to their narrow thinking we do not beleive that will be happening anytime soon.

Do not believe anything you read until you personaly evaluate it...

      Mike and Deb,

Regarding your somewhat disparaging comment that Npros.com did not  "evaluate the service the right way"...

For over 10 years we have been the highest traffic resource for home based businesses.  We evaluate and add companies based on publicly available information.

In this case, no information on EIS or their executives or their address is readily available on their site.  We went as far as contacting Tim Ross via phone at the number you provided, and we were told the reason that the information is not provided is to 'keep out the riffraff'. We're still not sure exactly what that means. The woman who answered the phone would not provide us with the address.

Years ago, we published an article on what we felt and still feel are the key elements in evaluating a home based business.  The home based business element is entirely separate from the 'product' which is what is described in the ABC6 local news piece you reference. The business opportunity is what people get involved in and invest their time and money in.

The number 1 item on our list of Red Flags when Researching an MLM Company:

      1. No Physical Address or Contact Numbers
The Internet has made it simple for new home based businesses to create a presence without having any real infrastructure or substance. While not all mlm businesses require a physical address, those that are offering goods or services to reps and consumers would be expected to have some traceable location. The lack of a phone number makes it all but impossible to pursue any customer service, commission, or other representative issue.

So when you say we did not evaluate the service the right way, if you mean that we did not post that the company address is readily available, that the names of the owners and executives are easy to find, that would be because its not true.  The info on the business opportunity is separate from the info on the product. The info on the product is here: http://www.npros.com/EmergencySticker/product.htm.  We don't create info or try to make any business opportunity look like anything other than what it is, and what is presented in their company materials ( in this case, their website ).

You contacted Npros and asked us to add this company to our directory.  We advised you that no company address or other info we require to create a business listing was available, and provided us the phone number.  We made every effort to be sure the information we added to our directory was true and correct.

We do hope you have much success with this business opportunity.

We understand your situation however there are far to many companies that want people to evaluate them solely on the company executives... The e-mail address is also posted on emergencysticker.com as well as the phone number.
This is not your typical home based business and we are looking for people who want to make a difference in the world with our service. Why don't you take the time to evaluate the true service..

An independent rep is the one who is representing the company

There are to many DEALS out there and promises of making large sums of money in a short period of time.
The executives of EIS are not Net Work Marketers and have been successful in other areas of business.,

By making a comment like that without doing the actual research on the company and the service you make it sound like a scam.. It is far from that and it is far from your typical net work marketing business.. He took your call didn't he.

By putting the address on the site you open your self up to tons of junk mail (rifraff... Top networkers sending resumes to cut a deal  (rif Raff... I know one thing...Tim Ross is a Gentleman and a modest man that wants the credit to go to the TEAM of members in the field.. I also know he is available to take anyone's call and fly across the country to meet a group on short notice. My wife and I got involved with this company because of the credibility of the service and the mission, the company has a mission to protect children. The only reason they went with multilevel was so that cost could be kept down... Not have a service that is overpriced .
      Put that in your evaluation.
We probably checked them out better than you could ever. We don't say that to put you down but just to let you know who we are  Deb and I .
       http://www.mrandmrsdetective.com   and http://www.ristateconstable.com

Your evaluation of the service is very not true the way it is written and you could have put the link to the news or a description from the website,,, LIFE SAVING SERVICE ... We know first hand of the value it saved my Mother in-laws life 6 weeks ago and the emergency room staff said it may have saved someone's life in the back of her waiting.
If someone things they are getting a sticker for $500.00 on the message board then something is wrong with your description.

      Thank You and
      God bless You.
Always at your service and always
      In his service.

      Hi,

Just wanted to clarify my post for you - I never saw EIS on NPROS. I was making a general query after having received an email from someone else in the network marketing business asking if I had seen this company.

When I checked their website, I noticed I could not retrieve any info on the company.  I never pay for anything if I don't have any contact info. Neither will most consumers.

I also noticed the relationship to FreeGasAtLast. Note the email address. This is a from a posted policies and procedures agreement.  I don't understand what selling a sticker has to do with free gas.  And I do realize the stickers don't cost 500.00, however, the 'Signature Membership' does.  You pay $499 for 38 Emergency Stickers.

When I dug further, I noticed that the refund policy only allows THREE DAYS to change your mind. If its such a quality product and service, why only three days?  Is there some kind of massive complication ( like dealing with junk mail ! ) in restocking STICKERS?

From an online copy of the policy and procedures I found.

      Emergency Information Services
      9000 SW Freeway, Suite 260
      Houston TX 77074
      United States
      Email: customerservice@freegasatlast.com
      Phone: 281-768-7880

As far as I can tell, this company started off as FreeGasAtLast. Buy 169.00 worth of stickers,  refer others, get gas cards:

You purchase the Emergency Information Services (EIS) for $170 and get a $25 gas debit card for Shell, ExxonMobil or Chevron gas. You tell 4 more how to get Free Gas, and when they join, you get $200 additional in gas debit cards. So...for $170 investment and getting 4 other who want Free Gas...you receive $225 - $170 = $55 ahead of the game. Four (4) Referrals qualify you for up to $100/week for a year of Free Gas ($5200/yr).

Now the FUN begins....because you get additions of $50, for each Referral that joins, added to your debit card weekly. You also get $25, for each person they refer. There are matching bonuses in a Forced 4x7 Matrix that add cash to your Debit Card. Nothing to loose and a lot to gain! See the Compensation Plan details on my website link below.. So go to the website and sign up as a new Member (like AAA - only the benefits are far greater)...get your Free website and invite others to join for their FREE GAS. Be sure to read the Compensation plan....you can earn $76,000/yr. for each Referral (12 Referrals could exceed $900,000) as this thing runs...and it is running...because everyone you know would like to get Free Gas at Last! Here is your website http://www.freegasatlast.com

Do you still get a gas card when you sign up other people?  What happened to FreeGasAtLast?

FreeGasAtLast was a way to promote the emergency sticker. The company had just begun network marketing the product. At the time they began marketing the emergency sticker gas prices were through the roof. This was a way to get people's attention. This product is such a valuable product and such a life saver, that the company wanted to get the word out to as many people as fast at they could, hence the free gas promotion. When gas was almost $5 a gallon, people stood up and took notice to free gas! As far as the address and contact info being on the website, one other reason for this is so that people would contact the person that referred them to the sight. We have been involved in other mlm business, and have never found a company that is so responsive to the distributors, and always available to help or answer any questions. The company is focused now on the mission of getting the word out about this lifesaving service. I can attest to the value of this service. I have had to use it for my mother on a number of occasions. The EMT and the emergency room staff love this service! The gas promotion got peoples attention, but as more and more people came on board that saw it as not as important as the mission itself, the company listened and hence the change! The compensation plan has changed as well.

My husband and I are passionate about this service and getting the word out, we contacted our local channel 6 TV station and they did a new story on the service. Please check out the link below:

While all this information is nice and an ethical cause. But how is the information secured? Where is it secured? The emergency sticker is asking for personal data and with identiy theft it opens things up.  People will also be putting PHI in the site. How is that protected?  It doesnt seem to be since you have a code # that opens it up access. if I loose the code# then whoever can see my info? Perhaps duping a relative. Since this is all over the south it can make old people easy targets if they loose the card or someone just finds a way into the database.

With now Google Health and Mircosoft vault sites coming on line how is this site going to survive? Why pay when these other sites offer free data warehousing and a known company holding the data including links to pharmacys and providers to download your medical history.

There is no data on this site that makes me feel secure in placing my data here.

Is there financial data for the company? I could not see where its a not for profit or gives to charities any money to help the cause its trying to promote.

Lastly,  why is there no marketing for this product? wouldnt it be worth while to promote it? maybe have that walsh guy promote it?  this is another red flag to me that says organizers make the cash from years 1 and 2 and then will fade into the sunset with all the money and the others in the pyrmid left holding useless stickers they already paid for.

Also interseting the website domain is paid thru 2011 but the sitte is hosted at  1&1 Internet AG  a monthly hosting company.  Not really a brick and mortar company I would trust to be sticking around.   Interesting enough site is registerd by John Ross but Tim Ross the admin???

Since you cannot find much on either guy I would hope its not the same Tim Ross  busted for child pornography in 2007??   http://www.usdoj.gov/usao/txs/releases/March2007/070329-Ross.htm

I dont mean to bash things but lack of information publicly available should be red flags,   good cause or not.
