Well, I asked for, and got(!), a forum here for Jerky Direct.

So let's get it started!

In this first message, I simply want to share a bit of info about me and how I became involved in Jerky Direct and what has happened since.

Back in early 2005, after a full military career, followed by civilian jobs that didn't pay enough (in addition to my military retired pay!) to match what I had been making on active duty, I had become aware of the potential of a home-based business! That came about despite the fact that I had already been through several companies with products priced too high for me and that involved complicated pay plans and way too much 'selling' or 'convincing' others to join me. In short, I had lost a lot of money learning what wouldn't work for me! (Can anybody relate?)

In March 2005, I found Jerky Direct - it was like WHAM! This was so simple that, even now, it is hard to believe that it is being overlooked!

Here is what a recent member said to me - it pretty much echoes exactly what I have been thinking for almost 6 years! -

"This is the first time I have I have actually seen a product that was being marketed through Network Marketing that was actually priced competitively with comparable products that are available both in stores and on the internet; most MLM products can be purchased at a store for a fraction of the price of the MLM price.

And he did several times more research and 'due diligence' than I had!

Anyway, I struggled for 18 months trying to figure out how to make this work. (Yes, I am stubborn - and, hey, maybe a little bit old and slow!) Finally, I hit it off with two guys who had joined me and we set out to make it happen - with a Purpose!

After we had the ball rolling, it was still evident we were missing something. Of course, that would be...a simpler system that all newbies could use to get started with!

In 2009, I was invited to help co-found a new system that was exactly what we were looking for. We joined with two other teams, formed the Super6Power Team, and developed FUSS - a Fun, Unique Simple System that everyone of our members could use to cut through the 'how-to-do-mlm' crap that is rampant in the industry today!

Just like Jerky Direct did with the Direct Sales/MLM side - making it super simple and taking out the negatives - we did the same with the marketing side!

When 95% of the people are no good at 'selling', and you ignore them (or abuse them!), you cannot be a successful team or company. So we set our sights on helping that MUCH larger audience become successful.

We think we have accomplished that!
