Is SendOutCards really changing the world?
The clams that SendOutCards is changing the world are pretty big. I take a practical approach to when tackling this issue. Hallmark and American greeting own about 80% of the 7 billion dollar greeting card industry. This industry has been flat for the last 20 years. SendOutCards is growing the "pie" by making it easier to send a card or gift. They are not just taking market share. I would consider that changing the industry.
Click click click thats all it takes and your card and gift is on the way. I would say yes in this example that SendOutCards is changing the world. You no longer have to drive to the store and spend $3 dollars on a card. SendOutCards stuffs, stamps, and mails your card for as low as $1.06!!!
SendOutCards is changing lives too. I have heard many times from people,"Man I wish I had 2800 bucks back when Microsoft when public I'd be rich." The fact is that in the next few years it is feasible that people will no longer go to the store to get a greeting card. SendOutCards has about 45,000 active distributors and just did 52 million in business 2009. Amway has 3 million distributors and does 8 billion in business. One day I am going to hear from people,"Man I wish I would have became apart of SendOutCards back when they had less distributors, I'd be rich"
Change your world.
