      If you aren't sure about joining ACN, keep the costs vs profits in mind, compare the two as best you can without actually knowing for sure what kind of money you make.I'm here to share my experience with this company, which really has not been good at all, but I'm not the kind of person to smash and slash with no reason. I was on the market for a new wireless plan because I wasn't happy with the one I had (if only I had known I was going from the pan into the fire).I'll definitely get i nto my issues with ACN Wireless service and plans, but I want to get into a few other problem areas first. ACN seems to like to mask some relatively important things under the guise of "rep points" and other unnecessarry terms. Let me tell you that these rep points do NOT pay off compared to the work that goes in. We're talking hours and hours and hours of phone calls, meetings and other crap just for enough cash to buy a WII. That's not an exaggeration by the way, that is what it has just about amounted to. If I wanted to go that route, I could have easily got a job at any retail outlet and made the same amount of money, only with less work and more consistency. Actually, come to think of it, no direct seller can compete with retail outlets anyway, because you have to sell the same monthly or bi-annual contracts that the franchises do. Its not like you can offer them deals on the newest phones or killer rates.
       

      Making an ACN comission brings you 10% of the monthly bills your customers acrue if you're lucky, provided you have a couple dozen directly under you, whom also have dozens under them. Most people only rake in about 1/2 of 1%. For example, perhaps you have have 20 customers with $100 phone bills.Well, at the end of the month, you'll make about 10 bucks. People need to really go over the starter materials and question all statistics and figures. Now, like me, you learned all this the hard way and hit the bail button. Guess what: Its an absolute atrocity trying to deal with their customer service, on virtually every possible level, right down the highly ironic dropped call while on hold.Now the wireless quality wasn't too bad, I can't complain there, but there were some fees tacked on later that made the bill higher than what I had before. I contacted ACN asking what was going on, and they said it was likely ATT fees, well that didn't make sense saying as it was my ACN bill in question. I never stuck around long enough to figure that one out, I just quit, and happily so.


      I'm not one to write these types of trash-it-up posts, but it sure seems like ACN is a straight up scam, I wasn't given any type of refund, and only lost money overall, alot actually.I was charged 50 bucks after I got my cell ordered by an ACN representative, When I called the company, they said I had ordered through a website, which apparently the rep did. After trying repeatedly to reach that rep, her phone was no longer in service and I never heard from her again.Initially, I didn't care about the loss, or the rep, I was still really into the concept, so I stuck around, and I'm really sorry I did. Here are the lessons I learned about ACN and company's like it.

      Selling for ACN makes you a contractor not an employee. There are some major differences between the two. You don't get to participate in the money influx of a "franchise" with ACN. You are basically giving them cash for permission to sell their stuff and recruit others. As a fresh ACN recruit, you are a lowbie sales contractor, working the lowest, most primitive job in the sales world. Its the equivilant of being a drop-out with a cleaning rag at Burger King, which most of us consider the bottom of the industry barrel. You will make a pay check, but what will it cost you?
