If your a seasoned online marketer, either an affiliate marketer, online network marketer or a hybred, you know that having your own list of people to market to is essential. 

If you're brand new to online marketing or network marketing, every "guru" is going to  tell you that you that you must build a list.  That is where leads, prospects and sales come from.  So how do you build your list?

Well I've made other posts about some ways to build a list.  Check out my profile to find some of those.  For now we can make it pretty simple.  You can either build your list one person at a time.  This can take awhile.  In fact, it does take awhile.

One way to increase your list in a shorter time is to participate in joint venture give away events that happen throughout the year.  The next major joint venture giveaway event for this year is going to be the Easter 2009 JV Giveaway event.

This is how a giveaway event works and how you can participate.

1.  Find a digital product on your computer that you own  or have the right to give away (everyone has at
least one…just check the rights listed on your products).   This is usually a good quality e-book or software package.  The better the quality of the product that you contribute to the event will determine how many people you add to your list.

2.  Follow this link: http://tr.im/iibv

3.  Fill out the simple form you’ll find there and upload your product.

On Easter day these few clicks will translate into a list building explosion.  But you’ve only got a small window of opportunity to get in.

They will be closing down for new contributions any day now.   So stop everything and take care of this before you forget.

For the seasoned online marketers, this event is expected to be bigger than last years.  If you've never been a part of a giveaway event.  This is one of the best every year and its going to be a great way to learn about this list building technique.
