I have recently received a bottle of Mazu Gold and I must say, I am very unimpressed.  First of all, The taste is horrible.  Maybe they should have used some of the money they spent on research, to work on the taste.  Secondly, the ingredient levels they use are a joke.  There is no way this product can be effective.  Please do some research on Humeric Nutrients and suggested usage levels, before buying this product.  There is enough information on the internet, to show you how much of a scam this product is.

Also, MLM rankings has this rated as one of the worst MLM products on the market.

Mazu Global Internet Popularity Percentile Rank: #669

This rank displays where Mazu Global ranks in our public interest database against all other MLM companies and home based businesses in our current profile. Mazu Global's position in our index ranks them at 669 out of 672 home businesses actively tracked in our database.

Percentile Rank: 0.60 Mazu Global Ranks Higher than 3 of 672 Companies in Our Profile Database

This percentage is based on the total number of interest 'hits' for all MLM companies and home based business opportunites in our most current monthly profile.

How do you make money with an MLM, when there is no interest by the public.  Mazu Global has horrible marketing, horrible leadership, and the worst part of it all, is the product they are trying to sell.

Sorry about the excessive info in the post.  It was not showing up when I was trying to copy and paste.

Wow, thank you for the information, though I'm curious, would you mind presenting a few links as to where you got your information? From what I'm seeing, Mazu is a subsidiary of Nuvonyx, Inc. Which is a company that offers laser diode components, arrays, and industrial laser systems for materials processing and defense applications. The company offers laser systems, direct diode systems, laser diode components, and cladding nozzle accessories. That's kind of unusual for that kind of company to branch out into nutritional supplements lol.

I don't like to assume everything is a scam, but honestly, product-wise, almost all MLM products seem like they are packaged fluff. People go out and buy health shakes, then exercise and take vitamins in addition to slowing down the junk food. They lose a bit of weight and praise the product, when really, they did it themselves while the product acted as placebo. I've tried hunger suppressants, metabolism pills, fat burning tablets during times of "weight loss throughout the years, and nothing seemed to make much difference over the other. I never catch less colds when taking superimmuneboosterantioxidantsupermanslepprightenergyblasting" tablets. Its all the same, using the same ingredients in different measurements. So ultimately I'll agree, there probably isn't much benefit to shelling out your dollars for this product, but I don't think the benefits of its competitors fair much better.

      Hello WallaceL,

The Nuvonyx you are refering to is a different company completely.  The Nuvonyx that Mazu is a susidiary of, is actually US Aloe.  US Aloe is a dying MLM, so they are trying to drum up some interest by saying they were" aquired by industry professionals" and they are launching a new product called Mazu Gold.  You will not find anything on Nuvonyx for that reason.  They haven't even started a website yet.

If you look back to some postes by Watchdog, about Mazu Global, you see that  was a whole marketing scheme as well.  Mazu Global was not in existence either, and was just made up to try to stir up some interest.  In fact, Doug Verner, COO of US Aloe was the registrant for the Mazu Global web site.

This whole company has been built on lies.  Pete Mountanos says he founded US Aloe, but come to find out, he took it over due to a stock deal gone bad.  He has no experience, that I have been able to find, at running a MLM company.  He made all his money with Microsoft.

Kim Simsby, The President of Mazu Global, was an original Franchisee Founder of Century 21, 30 years ago.  Apparently, he has been tied to a few MLM's, but never any that were very successful.

Not really sure how either of these two are qualified as "industry professional's."

I do agree with your statement saying "almost all MLM products seem like they are packaged fluff."  This one is no different.  They are all here to make money quick and then move on to the next thing.  I do know that they are planning on going public in Q1 2011.  Great way to sell off and get out.

Also, I had my company run a Dun & Bradstreet report on Nuvonyx/US Aloe/ Real Aloe and found out that this company is anything but financially stable.  If any of you have access to these reports, I urge you to check into their financial stability.

I would suggest that you try to find a more reputable company to sink your money into.  Too many lies, story changes, and no credible leadership.

Wow, great reply! Extremely informative, I definitely appreciate you clearing that up. I had visions of attempting to drink a health beverage followed by "nanobytes with lazer cutters" infesting my home lol.

In all seriousness though, this is the kind of information that I really appreciate coming across because its thorough, and more or less the point of forums like this. I had no idea that US Aloe was behind Mazu Gold, and that it was a sinking ship. What you said about Pete Mountanos snagging US Aloe after a bad stock deal reminded me of an MLM company I just did some research on a few weeks back, although he actually had better intentions. He bought a company that made light fixtures and claimed indirectly to be contributing to the materials used by Nasa. As it turned out he was really only using the same materials in some of their products lol.

Anyway, he purchased a company that had recently folded, without issuing refunds or honoring warranties. He actually paid them all personally, and was trying to reintroduce the company under new leadership. Ironically I can remember these details but not the name of the company....

      Anyway, excellent post.

The Truth? Your Truth would be more fitting. I have researched Mazu Global and found a much different picture then you have painted. I don’t know or need to know your motivations behind your post, but anyone can take parts of different stories and put them together to tell whatever story they want even if it’s not true.

I flew to Carlsbad, CA and looked over the facilities; I had the product inspected by several Doctors (MD’s and PhD’s) and am impressed with it. It’s not a juice so I’m not looking for a great taste, I’m looking for results and we are getting them. As for Kim Simsby he has no background in real-estate what so ever. He has been very successful in Network Marketing with over 25 years in the industry and a very good reputation. The MLM ranking you refer to are done based on search engine inquiries and nothing more, check this link http://www.mlmrankings.com/faq.asp. The top company by the rankings is AVON, if that helps go for it Ding Dong Avon Calling

I don’t wish to get into a he said she said, but false rumors is in no way helping anyone. I hope you have great success in whatever business you pursue, but please stop bashing other MLM companies without sharing FACTS.

Just curious what I am lying about. The whole buyout turned out to be a lie. There was no existing Nuvonyx company that bought them out. They used the buyout to shutdown US Aloe. I guess that would be Pete Mountanous' lastest success story. The Kim Simsby, real estate story, came from a distributor from Mazu, so I do believe that may be untrue. The product itself is horrible.  What are you impressed with?  The ingredient levels are way to low to be effective.  You have stated no fact in your post, just that you have had it inspected by MD's and PhD's.  What were they impressed with?  Do some internet research about the ingredients, and you will see it has very inadequate levels of ingredients.  The Hueric Nutrients and ECE are in there for marketing purposes.  That is why they listed them on the label the way they did.  They had to try to cover up the scant amounts they are putting in their product.
