What I find interesting about this prelaunch company is the founders' story.

I dont know of any other company where the founders have already made a personal fortune, outside of the direct sales / network marketing space - with this kind of pitch. Usually its "Our Founders are Successful MLM Gurus BLAH BLAH BLAH" - Noel and Johh Turner build their network of food and distribution companies from scratch, and it had nothing to do with network marketing.

This is also the first company I've seen where everything, front to back, from the mussel fields in New Zealand to the manufacturing to the headquarters for MOXXOR in California - is all owned by the same company. There's no 'middle man'.

The company is due to launch this month, and given the vision of the founders ( Noel Turner and John Turner ) and the story behind the product, and the product itself, I think this may be one of the most successful new launches of 2008.

      Cheers

Indeed, It's going to be the biggest of them all.

FYI guys, you are not allowed to have the word MOXXOR or their logos ANYWHERE other than your page. Per John Turner.

Unfortunately the science behind Moxxor simply does not stack up. Sorry to disillusion any believers but note the following.

      (1) The Moxxor Green lipped mussel oil component has 52% Oleic Acid, 3.3% DHA, and 4.7% EPA. These are their own figures.  An  extraction done by schoolboy following a text book yields less than 2% Oleic acid, at least 15% DHA, and around 24 % EPA.

      (2) Oleic acid is not desirable, but DHA and EPA are extremely desirable. So how could a schoolboy get around five times the desirable and 4% of the undesirables acids that Moxxor do.

      (3) I have challenged the Moxxor leaders to explain, no  response.

The science does not stack up IF what they advertise is true.

You simply cannot get 2600% Oleic Acid from a standard extraction of Green shell mussel.

Oleic acid is the main component of Olive oil.

Moxxor are either using a filler and/or using a spent mussel powder (commonly called defatted) for their extractions.

      MLM enthusiasts should be careful.

Since my first post things certainly have taken an interesting turn at MOXXOR.

Twin brothers Noel Turner and John turner are splitsville. As in Noel's name no longer appears on the website.

Emails to MOXXOR indicate a weird absentee CEO situation. They also appear to have moved out of their former headquarters.

Former "CO-CEO" Noel Turner is now CEO of "FREZZOR" ( supposed to rhyme with Free-To-Soar, don't try to wrap your head around the logic behind that or the catch phrase or your brain will just hurt ).  FREZZOR - all caps just like MOXXOR - markets a nutritional powdered greens product and now a new antioxidant supplement strikingly similar to MOXXORs 'Moxxor' product.

Turf wars in the neutraceutical arena, brother v brother. Can't wait to see who prevails or if both companies disappear.

FYI guys, you are not allowed to have the word MOXXOR or their logos ANYWHERE other than your page. Per John Turner.

ANYWHERE is a pretty broad term.

Does MOXXOR believe they can reasonably track and respond to the kind of marketing that goes on with any new company on the internet?

For example: MoxStar - you used the word MOXXOR in your post. Is that 'Anywhere'?  Did you just violate John Turner's policy? I realize you didnt attach a link or anything, but there are already sites on the net using the word "MOXXOR" as a subdomain. Things ike MOXXOR . MYSITE . COM attached to blogs and such.

Keep in mind those rules only apply to distributors - if MOXXOR takes off, there will be plenty of posts on blogs, etc, that include the word MOXXOR. Use of the term - even if its trademarked - is allowed in many scenarios - as long as its not misleading or misrepresents the site or the information to be from the company.  For example consumer protection sites, news articles, etc ... even situations where someone who felt that MOXXOR was not a good proposition could do a blog titled MOXXOR SCAM -  and then post their opinions. Even though MOXXOR is trademarked name, that doesn't prohibit its use in this fashion.  No one would mistake a post of that nature as being 'misleading'. Check out fair use, etc.  So many people ( including business owners ) think that a trademark means they control of all use and utterance of their trademark - that's simply not the case.  A trademark cannot be used in a manner that is confusing to the reader. Here's a great legal analysis:

The Lanham Act permits a non-owner of a registered trademark to make "fair use" or "nominative use" of a trademark under certain circumstances without obtaining permission from the mark's owner. The fair use and nominative use defenses are to help ensure that trademark owners do not prohibit the use of their marks when they are used for the purpose of description or identification. Fair use or nominative use may be recognized in those instances where a reader of a given work is clearly able to understand that the use of the trademark does not suggest sponsorship or association with the trademark owner's product or services and therefore is not being used in a manner to confuse the reader.

MOXXOR has every right to choose to tell reps they can't use the term in advertising, or elsewhere, because those distributors are bound by a contractual agreement. However, that's a position most MLM companies have moved away from  ( call it what you will, Direct Sales, Network Marketing, MOXXOR is definitely an MLM ) particularly the legit companies that are here for the long haul. They allow reps to use the name in advertising as long as the advertisement doesn't violate thier terms or endanger the companies compliance with regulatory agencies by doing things like posting income claims, making false health claims ( like MOXXOR CURES CANCER!!!! ) the usual stuff that gets a company in deep with the regulators.

Either MOXXOR is getting some overzealous advice from people collecting fat checks or with a limited understanding of the internet, or they the don't understand that whether they have a policy or not, they are still going to spend just as much time policing the issue as they would if they allowed a reasonable use of the name - and at least with a reasonable use, they also get additional branding awareness and additional name exposure.

I definitely like the look of this company. I like the product info I've seen ( someone posted a link to the dev site on another site a while back ) and I like the fact that the owners are not career MLMers.  I think they have a very good shot at success, as long as they dont get sidetracked with bad advice...which is everywhere in this business and usually identified by the people trying to justify their monthly consultant check.

      Cheers

PS Please post your experience with the launch. The site is not live yet ( 11:25pm on Sept 19 ).

And are you allowed to post with even your tagline containing a link to your own MOXXOR page? That would be absurdly restrictive.

      MoxStar -

After my last post, I did a Google search. Other than the consumer sites, like Npros, etc, I noticed that your page comes up reasonably well ranked -

      http: // moxtar.com/about-moxxor/

You have pages that not only include the word MOXXOR in URLs on the site, but also several times on the pages themselves -

The about MOXXOR page, BUY MOXXOR, enroll in MOXXOR, etc. You have a keyword cloud of links that all include MOXXOR and link to various other pages ( kudos, this is great SEO practice ) but again, are you using the word MOXXOR in a way that you just said John Turner said was prohibited?

Are these all violations of the 'ANYWHERE' policy you mentioned?

I guess I just don't get what you meant by your anywhere statement.  I gleaned from one of your pages ( that prominently includes the word MOXXOR all over the place ) that your name is Daniel Sanchez, Moxxor ID # 3188301.:

      About Me

My name is Daniel, and I am your motivator, your guide, your friend, and business partner. I have been in business all my life because I hate having a job, and I love making things happen. This is going to be a life changing event in many people’s lives, I honestly believe that.

The purpose of this team is to create a stable foundation for all MOXXOR business owners who have never been in business for themselves, or simply have never succeeded in the business of network marketing. I will be leading the team, as well as other key people whom I consider MoxStars.

Your link to MyMoxxor.com shows your name.

I'm hoping that I'm making my point that saying use of the term ANYWHERE is ridiculously restrictive, and in many cased unenforceable  ( though they could certainly terminate distributors, if you are actually using that term in your pages in violation of the contract you signed with the company)

      Cheers

Not suprising at all, I heard that there was a divorce from a Japanese source, apparently very bitter.

Moxxor mussel oil was crap anyway, and I am not sure how Mike Adams has fared in the divorce proceedings. His seduction by TwiddleDee and TwiddleDum was sick to watch.

I'm sorry guys, I read my post over and I mistakenly wrote "word". When I meant to say images. No images of their products, or logos are allowed to be used anywhere in your private websites.

After speaking to John about what is allowed, he did confirm that the use of their images in strictly prohibited.

I understand that to it's entirety, and it was directed exclusively to people held under a contractual agreement with the company. It would have been absurd for me to assume that it was not. lol

My experience has been amazing, they are really hands on people and get right down to business when it comes to what they want to accomplish.

The launch was delayed until next week (last time I heard was Friday, Sept. 19th) because of some issues with the site. But you can still get started by going to http://www.MyMoxxor.com/start

I am also creating an organization that will help everyone who decides to join the MoxStar Team. I am working on a DBA from my current LLC. so we can be official and start this the right way.

Also working on all the goodies you get when you join the MoxStar Team. I have a whole back end that will make communication extremely easy and secure! So Moxstar.com is the front and once you get started you will gain access to the rest.

I already have my ProPack on the way and I will post pictures of it on the MoxStar.com site once it arrives.

The latest in the MOXXOR brothers saga is that brother Noel has launched a new company to compete with brother John's MOXXOR.

http://www.frezzor.com - the site and logo are very similar to MOXXOR, but the products are not quite the same.

Neither company seems to have much traction in the marketplace at the moment.
