      Hello Fellow Marketers,

I just wanted to share someting with everyone....

I do a lot of keyword research to see what people are searching for on places like Google and I've been seeing an increase in the number of people looking for Green home business ideas.

As an online marketer...I find the niches and go where the market is.  But I never really found anything that was a good fit for people looking to start a "Green" home business.  There a many MLM's that have green products...but they were not very easy to market online, which is where I market.

At last check "Green Jobs" got over 800 targeted searches a day on Google and "Green Products" gets well over 500 searches a day.  People are looking for these things.  Thats a market!!!

Then I found Go Free Go Green the other day.  I checked them out and got on one of their nightly live business calls.

I must admit, I liked what they're doing.  Good eco-focused products with new additions all the time, a low entry cost (which is a big help in our economy) and a very active ownership with LIVE calls EVERY night at 9 eastern.

So check out Go Free Go Green and take a look for yourself.  Let me know if you have any questions

I checked out their "Green" skin care line ... and one of the ingredients was phenoxyethanol.

      Cool...

Thanks for the feedback.  I guess phenoxyethanol is a bad thing?  I will admit, I dont know.

Skin care products are not a big issue for me.  I was more attracted to the diversity of their products and more of the renewable and energy saving type products.

Safe and natural skin care products are important but I must admit I dont know much about that.

I mean, I think the environment is more concerned about energy saving and efficiency than it is about my skin.

But I love the feedback and would like you to expand on it just a little.

There are more products being added all the time by Go Free Go Green and one interesting thing is that the company owner is open to the distributors finding locally made earth friendly products that they could add to their product offerings.

You find the product, take the picture and provide a discription of the product and submit it to the company.

I've never seen that in a MLM before.....but then again Go Free Go Green is not the normal MLM

Phenoxyethanol: Toxic to kidney and bladder. Causes reproductive disorders, serious eye damage & brain degeneration.

Not the kind of ingredient I want in anything I put on my skin .... not a very "green" company in my opinion.

      All the best to you

Thanks for the information.  I will pass that along to the ownership.

As I said...skincare is pretty low in my personal radar.  I did not choose to promote or get involved with this company because of a skin care line.  I can get organic products from many stores in my metro area and its not a domain of MLM's any longer.  As far as that goes, neither are plant based or organic cleaning supplies.  However, their laundry soap is very unique and I've not seen anything like it before.

Im more focused on energy saving type products.  To be honest, there are more "organic" skin care companies out there then I can shake a stick at.

The real growth and the products that will help a country and planet is, in my opinion, products that can help us save, reduce and reuse our natural resouces.

Since we dont manufacture any of our own products, we are not tied to any of them.  We are a bit different because we are a customer acquisition company and not a traditional MLM or party plan company.   Im sure careful consideration of any one product line can result in a change.  In fact, a very unique thing about this company is that the owership welcomes its distrubutors finding locally made natural products that the company can pick up.

However I will admit that if a product line has flaws or a better one can be found, it should be passed along.

Our company probably cares more about the environment and the planet than most others out there ..

      (1) We are a carbon neutral company - is GoGreen?

      (2) Our factory is run by wind power - is Go Green?

      (3) We are continually looking for the best possible packaging that is not only good for the product, but good for the planet as well

And as far as all these other "organic" product lines in the marketplace today - there's a huge difference between organic and certified organic. Many of the "Natural", "Toxic free", "Organic" etc etc products are nothing like what people expect them to be ... lots of "greenwashing" going on out there today. Be carefull what you read and believe.

Campanies can make claims of organic, without having to back it up - whatever they say, is whatever they want you to believe.

      Good luck to you

Sounds Great.  Then you are far beyond most companies.

It appears you are a little hostile towards me for some reason.  All I've ever said is that skin care is not a real focus for me.  As far as the accolades of your company, thats wonderful that they've taken these steps.  Of course, your method of promoting it has not done much to win me over.

Trust me, Ive been in the high end commercial pet food industry for years and I've seen and know the difference between organic and certified organic.  I would also suggest that certified organice does not always mean what you might think either.

Perhaps I need to clear something up.  Go Free Go Green does not manufacture anything.  It is simply a distribution company that attempts to locate locally made products with either a minimal impact or neutral or beneficial impact.  Much the same as you could expect to find if you go to your local co-op to look for products.  Ive found several products at my local co-ops that Im sure would not meet your standards for whatever reason.

However, it is nice to see our company looking to support independent small business around the country and perhaps help them grow their business by exposing their local product to a national consumer base.

So, Im glad you've found something that you like.  Have a nice day.

      Hey Dale -

There was absolutely no hostility in my previous post - that's the drawback of "typing" words without people beng able to hear the "tone" of the wrods being said. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding - it was not my intention at all.

I applaud Go Free Go Green (and yes, I did not realize they were simply a distribution company - my mistake) for what they are doing and doing it locally is even better.

My point is that with all the "green" hype going on today, people need to be very cautious not to fall for something that isn't what they think it is (not speaking of Go Free Go Green here). When companies use words like "pure" "natural" "safe" , "organic" or even "green" most people feel it's good for them, good for the environement, etc etc - and yet, upon closer inspection, it can sometimes be simply "greenwashing". The power of words and deceptive advertising.

Using personal care products, skin care products, hair care products etc etc that contain harmful chemicals, usually end up in our ground water, and eventually into our lakes and streams. If we really want to do good for the planet, we need to start being more aware of this, and choosing products that are truly free from chemicals.

The majority of our products are certified organic - certified organic to food standards. If you can't put it in your mouth, then we don't want to be putting it on our skin. In our case, certified organic is truly what it means.

We're much more than just a skin care company - I'm just using this product range as an example.

All the best to you, and congratulations on looking for an opportunity that is not only beneficial to you, but for the environment as well. We need more people to follow this path!

      Jim
