About Me
After leaving school at 16, I had two very popular jobs (l.o.l) I spent 3 years in the Tax Office and then 17 years in the South Australian Police Force. Then for 10 years I worked and developed a Franchised System and became a Franchisor, I had to walk away from this as we were sued for the name we used for the Franchise. I then worked in a bank for the next 16 years.
I have been a diabetic for 30 years and I had to leave work in May, 2013, with a kidney problem which left me in a financial mess. Over the next 7 months I was very sick and eventually started Dialysis Training in December. I trained for 4 months and started home dialysis in April this year.
During all this time I was depressed about my situation as I could not see the light at the end of the tunnel, and I went to some very dark places.
Well, all that changed about 2 months ago.I went on dialysis, overnight, for 10 hours every second night. Well, slowly, things started changing a bit, and I started to get my mojo back.
There are millions of people out there worse off than myself and I researched some of them and they had found that bright spot and had the determination to challenge adversity.
My background was in Business and Franchising in particular, but how was I going to take that experience into being able to do anything for myself and the wider community, and to get me focused on what was important.
I had the internet and a phone, and about a month ago the "light bulb" went off when I joined a home based business.
With the type of opportunity it is, it was going to help me fulfill a dream, and that is to help as many people who are virtually house bound as I was with either sickness or disability, to get their mojo back, and the nature of this opportunity also gives me and the others that join me, the wonderful gift of being able to help business and non profit organizations globally.
I have found my bright spot and have a new mission in life
