• I wondered how they managed to get celebrity pics wearing these bracelets. That's good intel.

And for the record, I can only lift a car if I wear both the cPrime bracelet and the EFX bracelet, one on each ankle, and only after drinking water magically transmogrified by putting the bands on a bottle of Arrowhead for 24 hours prior to hydrating.

    • How did I not see this thread before? This was hillarious.

And, for what it's worth, I'd love to see Watchdog lifting a car!

    • This is a total scam at least as far as their celebrity endorsements are concerned. If you go up to a celebrity and give them a gift (which being nice celebrities they put on) and take a photo, you can not then claim that so-and-so is using your product. I am surprised they have not been sued yet by celebrities for falsely using their image.

    • I was researching CieAura and eventully LifeWave, Harmonics FM, etc and found that there are just too many 'fake' reviews of this stuff trying to explain why its not a scam.  Repspace and Watchdog's research was a great resource it trying to untangle it.

I setup a website/blog just about their scams in hopes that other may be able to more easily find this information and dismiss the claims of the scammers:

I hope to keep digging as time allows -- I accumulated enough evidence to dissuadethe believers that I knew.

Never criticize something you have not experienced.  You just proclaim your ignorance.

Speaking of ignorance, the person who started this thread has no direct knowledge of Mentoring For Free.  He is only rewriting what other websites say about it.  Think about the logic of that.  This man is not a reliable source.  How about if I start writing negative, or at best, "neutral" information about your company's products without ever using them for myself.  I feel like I'm back in junior high here.  Someone is in a bad mood so he starts calling someone else names, in this case: scam.  Grow up.
Talk about ignorance, how do you know II have not experienced this?  Maybe the person starting the thread has no experience, but maybe they do.

Here's what you are missing, is some of the information at MFF good, of course, but there are also many other opinions out there from other people that are just as good.  Are there things at MFF you can learn to advance your business?  That's debatable.

There are dozens to hundreds of people that have used MFF to "try" to advance their business, and failed.  Not for lack of trying, not for lack of effort.  When you join a company are are excited about it, you are passionate about it, and then you get told at MFF to not talk about your company, or I'm not here to promote my business, are you kidding?

Hundreds & Hundreds of people pay $19.99 a month for replicated sites that take penny's to support, and then they promote MFF to everyone else they can find on the internet.  Dlouhy is a typical "tool hustler" just like the rest, pay your monthly fee.  People buy and promote his ebooks and CD's for him and he makes tens of thousands of dollars each month on others peoples efforts, and keeps it all to himself claiming it's expensive to operate MFF.   Almost every other tool hawker out there offers a commission on their personal efforts, not this guy, he is greedy and keeps it all to himself.

Now here's the part that you need to get through your thick skull, there is way too much negativity at MFF.  Company A is a scam, Company B has a bad pay plan, Company C has over priced products, Company D has bad policies, and on and on.

Then there's the personal development call where everyone talks about being abused and their horrible past, ALL negatives.  The irony is that Hill talks about "we become what we think about" in Think and Grow Rich, a book they use, but yet all they talk and think about are negative things.

I'm just one of hundreds that spent time using this to advance my business, and if you were honest with yourself you would realize that if you were doing so great with your business you wouldn't need MFF.  Instead of wasting time listening to calls all week you would be actually building your business.

Typical program that works for the person that launches it, in this case Dlouhy, and they make as much or more money as they do from their MLM.  In this case everyone in this deal is in or ends up in vitamark.  The mentoring for free thing is in fact not free,  just like the rest of the non-duplicating systems being promoted as the answer to everyones problems in MLM, there is a place for a credit card when you get right down to it.  The worst thing about this program is that they bash all the other companies as not being as good as vitamark and make the company the reason people fail.  This is wrong for two reasons, number one Vitamark is not that great, they are a tiny company that has been around longer than monavie, agel and some of the other newer companies, but are a lot smaller and number two people blame the past company for failure when they failed because they didn't do the work or learn how to build the business correctly in the first place.  Dlouhy won't show them how to build the right way even though Big Al is the owner of Vitamark and teaches people what they need to learn, dlouhy just screws people up, Big al must be sick to his stomach.   Dlouhy is just a little fish in a little pond, that's why people think he's a big deal, but he's just a minnow.
Your name says a lot: Kool Aid Drinker

I have benefited much from the last 13 months of listening to Dlouhy and his team.  In all that time I have grown as a person, gained confidence, and advanced my business.  And until now I never knew the name of the company he was "promoting".  He offers mentoring for free, just as advertised.  I am not currently, nor have I ever been a member of his MFF  "pro" version.  Therefore I have never had to pay for any of this.  But I would not hesitate to recommend it because it seems to be helping the people that are involved.

I just happened across this website and this was the first post I read.  If the rest of the site has similar bashing of good, decent people who are sincerely  trying to help others I will not waste any more time here.

    • I'd like to repost just the relevant portions to the patent stuff from another thread. The negative words you use probably intended to mean the post, not the fact the patent is "hidden."

      Cited Repost:

It has been suggested the patent is international in NZ, therefore "does not apply" to the US. Actually I think the World resolves such disputes, vies a vie Nikken vs. Amway over magnets. Nikken had the Japan patent and Amway owned similar in US. Truth is, both apply - and don't necessarilty threaten each other if they were designed in parallel. At least to my understanding.

It occured to me that we can't find the patent because GFG was purchased and renamed from a prior company (before the affiliate program), which means unless we want a trip to the county (in the state of) origin's clerk, we may not find it - No former name, no information for patent. Not paying a P.I. until this stuff stops working. ;)

New Thought - Since my last post (5 mins), I thought up another idea: What if the patent is being licensed from scientists or another entity? Sounds like contract is a 'ghost' reason to avoid - but frankly easier to explain than corporate strategy. MLMs tend to simplify rather than provide real insight in management & legal decisions. Who hasn't worked for a company where HR's reason to fire someone on paper isn't the real scoop? Sometimes the real reason is necessary but looks like crap on paper. Legal defensibility is not reasonability!  Bottom line: Hard to duplicate jurisprudence, and negativity (along with rumor on ignorant interpretation/opinion) catches like wildfire.

Thanks for the insight and perspective! Suspicion is the better part of caution. The question of the day "is the hidden reason valid?" The public reason is truly irrelevant for sure. MLM with a grain of salt, as you prescribe, Sir. :)

    • Yeah, the patent discussion was kinda stupid - I ended up just letting it drop:

"I've already told you Jon, they won't disclose that do to a privacy clause to protect the manufacturer; and no I will not go in to further detail why again."

Other than being insulting, arrogant, and offensive, it makes no sense.  Patents are public, and you can search for them at the patent office website. Envirotabs (when i searched for it) was no where to be found.  Probably under some other name, but it's suspicious the company won't share their "patent" information publically.

    • I think reading this thread with similar players, but this one being a bit toxic, my offer from http://repspace.com/forums/t/2872.aspx:

Partial Repost from an Valid Discussion on GFG.

I am a network marketing skeptic, as a former veteran of several good and bad companies, albeit my income part-time rather than full-time as a leader. This is mainly because I am not their trained dog, and I don't buy hype as a business pragmatist. I have seen every scam, sham, hype and conster out there. Short of being Rod Cook, I'm about as neutral as you find. (Company names and leadership level savailable by PM or email.)

I am a former VP Operations for two construction companies, and current Managerment at a financial service center. Upper management doesn't buy into BS without numbers. (Because I am a moving target with access to large sums of cash, prefer not to provide my name thanks, but prior firms available by PM or email.)

I also have a degree and background in I.T. Management (Degree/school and firm names available by PM or email.) This will factor into my explanation. I have an upper level edcuation before my major changed in science and chem, so I have some idea of how to read & filter their research.

I have also come out of 'marketing retirement' for a social and Internet marketing experiment, in which I have joined GreenFoot. (No flames on this with skepticism: I did give full disclosure.)

I find it more disturbing "no patent handled out for privacy reasons." Everything else looks in order. As former upper management, I do think there are smart reasons for this but it seems convenient. My understanding of the new EPA rules is that it is quite an investment to get registered (Cycle 1 & 2 tests now merged?) so this adds some credibility - and legal ability to say saves miles and safe for your car. VERY expensive.

Not to pick on DreamLife or Power Plus MGP, but all the accusations about products manufacturerd by hand (gum?), financial issues, and lack of EPA registrations with claims of damages (avoiding LA Atty General claims since state laws vary) - comparing this with the last great "pill" or gas MLM, GreenFoot is started by people who were in the "gas saver" MLM before DreamLife (chose not to partake?) and have little history of bouncing companies. They also "retooled" what I have researched (5 EPA reg's) as an existing private company that didn't appear in financial trouble. GFG calls do seem like Methodist bulletin reviews (thank God I was raised Weslyan) and have MLM hype, my LORD they aren't the Hallelujah! sermons DreamLife appears to have (based on me listening to a few online) - and many other that seem more fly by night. Seems a way better "gamble."

I'm relatively new to the GFG business, although you can see plainly this is NOT my first rodeo, so now is the time to visit my site and "Contact Distributor: while I am CANDID *not* 100% sold with any questions: http://www.greenfootfglobal.com/Youareceo  I also encourage former? DreamLIfers finding this page out of frustration to try a product that doesn't have 4,000 complaints online. If anything, when you contact me as another professional or "seeker" you won't get a sales pitch but real information. That's how I roll. I will warn you even as a pragmatist I've had constructive results. And if I find GFG is dishonest, I won't pitch my tight network on it - It's just not worth the damage to my reputation. I haven't marketed something since 2008, and there is a reason I waited six months during investigation to jump in cautiously.

In fact, anyone with serious questions that demand an answer: If you contact me on my web site, I will deliver them to Bill Hyman personally, as long as your questions are not negative or flame-bait. My sponsor is one level below the corporate office, and we are in regular contact with the Hymans. I've been to my father's house (who is drop-dead sold on his Durango getting 23 mpg instead of 16? BTW) and heard Hyman's wife on his answering machine leaving a message for Pop while he was out. My father is successful in sales, but not the high roller will travel you usually get with professional network marketers. I had the displeasure of a down laptop that weekend, and was using his office. Yes, I am just a baby at 36 aren't I? No I don't live there - down the street, thanks for asking. But don't get the idea that I am cozy with the owners, or that I am their Monkey Boy per se - I just have access to them.

Now, I'm sure I will get the marketing flame and the newbie flame because I am not posting to share. However, as a GFG person - and legal savvy company man in my own right - I do have to avoid saying things I can't substantiate or prove about a company with which I legally signed. So, my inclinations aren't public so I am not sued or issued notice, etc. - The main reason I won't explain online. The fact you have contact me personaly is a bonus, and the lack of public humility by equally unsubstantiated flames is priceless to me. :)

I do promise I am only trying to help. But, what can I say? I rarely post anywhere, and I can't help it there is one "scam" accusation website I can find for GFG (plus this pragmatic, authentic and useful discussion - KUDOS) and 10,000 dislike sites for the other guys. Not my problem there.

    • I could take up a whole page on THE FACTS that I personally have experienced using EnviroTabs , along with my brother's and a Toyota engineer's and many others' experiences at this point. What caught my attention in the beginning was the claim that this product greatly lowers harmful emissions coming out of the exhaust pipe up to 75%. After extensive use of this product, the Toyota engineer drove 70 miles to my establishment and took me over to his exhaust pipe and wiped his fingers in the pipe and showed me his fingers and asked me what I saw. I saw nothing visible. He went on to tell me that he's getting 20% increase in his gas mileage and said that gas mileage was not the major benefit. Lowering the wear and tear on the engine, reducing maintenance costs and extending oil and engine life was the major benefit of this product. He calculated a $200 savings after he deducted the cost of the product. My brother attested approximately the same thing. I have used this product religiously since February of this year, over 30 fill ups but have not calculated my gas mileage increase as yet, but i estimate it to be around 15-20%.  It was even lower than that when i first started using it. Most people are claiming an average gas mileage increase of 10-25%, and some even more than that. The real kicker is, that the company claims only a 7-14% gas mileage increase. Isn't that special !!! I purchased a distributor license so I could buy the product cheaper than the website price. It only costs 50 bucks a year. Plus, you have to refer the distributor's username to even buy the product online. So I make a little extra money in commissions, not much, to recoup my cost out of pocket and make a little extra money right now. I don't really like everything about the company. Personally I think they're a little greedy with the way they have their compensation plan set up, but the product is a definite THUMBS UP. I hope this is not against the rules of RepSpace cause I just joined and I think RepSpace is a very good idea for people to share pros and cons or skepticism on issues at hand. It's rather stimulating. If any of you have any questions about this product or the company, feel free to call me at 818-857-7961 and ask for Douglas. I am a happy-homeless Vietnam War veteran. And I do not take help from welfare or the Government. Both of them have their hands full right now. And I don't condemn anyone that does get welfare or Government assistance. I am gonna take a horsey-back ride on Greenfoot Global to see where it takes me. I am not looking for hand-outs but if you want to use this product for ,what i believe will sweep the whole globe, contact me for a test drive of this space age product , I call it. It's backed by a 100% money back guarantee. It can't cure cancer or raise the dead, like THE LORD JESUS did, but it damn sure will do wonders in your vehicles, or you get your money back. How's that for a deal. Plus, it also works in diesel fueled combustion engines as well.

    • I've already told you Jon, they won't disclose that do to a privacy clause to protect the manufacturer; and no I will not go in to further detail why again.  Enviro-Tab and EnviroTabs are legally two different names.  Compare both products and websites and I can assure you that Greenfoot Global LLC and EnviroTabs will come out the victor.

    • September 21, 2011 11:55 AM PDT
    • No, Angel, seriously.  Do you have a patent number or a copy of it from your back office?  I did a search both at the patent office and looking on the public Envirotabs site and can't see it.

My thought is Enviro-Tabs has the creation and protection in NZ, but that doesn't apply in the USA (or they'd be taking legal action not posting on the forums).

However, if Enviro-Tabs *did* copy it outright, then at best it's just highly unethical.

    • Not original you say, how so?  The only way you can say if its not the original is if our product was first spelled the same, same color, manufactured the same, and claimed to do 'word for word' what your product claims.  None of that pertains to our product; therefore, we are original, we are legit, too legit, too legit to quit.

Protect the air we breathe?  That's why there are air quality regulations by governments, or does New Zealand not have that?  You can help cure the air but not so much as protect it.  If by 'we' you mean New Zealand then it is possible you can protect their air, but not the world's.

Our mission:  Greenfoot Global is dedicated to marketing products that leave our planet greener, provide our customers substantial savings and offer our independent entrepreneurs a sustainable long term business opportunity. We are proud to introduce EnviroTabs ®, a product that can help reduce harmful fuel emissions while helping increase mileage, engine longevity and also increase horsepower. At Greenfoot Global our goal is to reduce the world’s dependency on fossil fuels and also reduce emissions in at least 10% of the world’s vehicles. By using and promoting EnviroTabs ® you can do your part to help the planet.  We have a way broader mission than you; and quite frankly, your product can even touch us.

    • September 21, 2011 3:41 AM PDT
    • @philis     Don't hyphenate our products name; it's EnviroTabs.  Sure I give you that the names are similar, but not the same.  I'm quite offended that you call our product a "knock off."  Your product isn't superior to ours; doesn't do as much as our product does, has a way more reasonable price, and actually pays you back to use it.  So eat your words!  Lifted photos?  Where?  I've looked at your company's website and the only picture I see that we use, which basically every environmental site has, is the globe of Earth.  OMG, you use a globe and we use a globe, that must mean we are crooks, right?  No sir, and our globe looks more eye appealing by the way.  If you sent us such notices, you must see that you guys are wasting your time; we aren't breaking any laws.  USA, where we sue for everything and anything, and possession is 9/10th of the law; trust me, we know the legal system better than anyone.  So even if your company wanted to take legal action, there's no possible way you guys would win.  Bottom line, our product works 100% of the time and is 100% safe, it is the World's 1st Multi-Vitamin for Your Engine; and if any brand was to be claimed a knock off, it would be yours.

Not soon enough for consumers who lost their money, but kudos to WatchDog for being spot on on this EFX bracelet scam.

    • Posted by WatchDog in the Power Balance Scam thread, but I thought it deserved it's own thread  ( credit to WatchDog ):

And, as expected, Epic Fail by Power Balance.

Last year Australian regulators found the the claims of improved flexibility and balance and strength increases were misleading, and Power Balance had to publicly admit that there were no scientific evidence to support their claims, and agreed to refund customers in Australia.

A US lawsuit soon followed, and Power Balance was sued by customers alleging the company falsely claimed it's bracelets improved athletic performance. After the company was sued it was reported that the their revenues dropped through the floor.  In September Power Balance agreed to settle the lawsuit in Federal court. Under the reported terms of the settlement, anyone who purchased a wristband would be eligible for a refund of $30 plus a $5 shipping fee, for an estimated liability of up to $57 million dollars according to some sources.

Power Balance filed for bankruptcy protection in Santa Ana California last friday. The company benefited by reaching a settlement before going to trial, which would have exposed the company to all sorts of discovery to provide proof of the holographic bracelets benefits, which of course they can't, so a settlement agreement followed by a quick bankruptcy is a great way to dodge the 'truth' bullet and still try to bamboozle the remaining true believers into selling and using the product.

Power Balance tweeted yesterday, "Power Balance is not going out of business. See our new performance mouth gear launching this week".

One humorous twitter reply summed it up with: "Does your new mouthguard have holograms that you fraudulently declare will improve sporting performance?"

I stand by my previous posts that this holographic quackery is pure hoax, and if Power Balance survives they will only do so by rewording their marketing and presentation material so that it no longer claims any performance, but only implies it using ambigious *wink* *wink* language that will be less actionable by legal authorities.

Why pay for a ID theft monitoring service when you can do it yourself? It is annoying to get those calls. Can we make it only on certain amounts like > $500 or more?

What about when they have your ID and the shady lender just puts your name on the loan and the house. No alert then?

CieAura Announces Strategic Partnership with NBA and WNBA

CieAura, premiere distributor of Transparent Holographic Chips, signs agreement with the NBA and WNBA, bringing instant global credibility to one of the fastest growing direct sales companies.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) October 11, 2011

CieAura LLC, a direct sales company distributing CieAura Transparent Holographic Chips™, has announced a strategic partnership with the NBA and WNBA. With CieAura's impressive roster of NBA and WNBA athletes already openly promoting their quality product line, this partnership was a natural fit.

CieAura's licensing agreement with the prestigious basketball leagues allows the company's retail sales force an opportunity to become Authorized CieAura NBA and WNBA Independent Retailers with exclusive rights to buy and sell specialized NBA and WNBA CX2 Plus Wristbands. The wristbands utilize the company's proprietary CX2 holographic chip technology for naturally enhanced athletic performance.

CieAura's licensing agreement with the NBA will allow the company to market the league branded energy wristbands at arenas, maximizing exposure and driving brand awareness and recognition. Exciting promotions would highlight NBA players, coaches, and management wearing the wristbands on the court. The announcement and introduction of the NBA licensed product is being heralded as a game changer for current and former distinguished NBA notables.

NBA Hall of Famer and CieAura Advisory Board Member, Elvin Hayes says, "What CieAura has done now is simply amazing. Being a partner with the NBA and having their support on our products gives us even more credibility. Everyone knows that the NBA does not partner with companies easily. To have played in the NBA for 16 years, and knowing what great marketers they are, this new partnership will catapult our business to a whole new level. With CieAura teaming with the NBA, we all will become part of a championship team."
The marketing and licensing agreement with the WNBA offers the ability to create innovative marketing programs that spark the connection between the company and basketball fans. CieAura is able to communicate directly with WNBA fans via online networks, mobile technology and at local events to market the CieAura WNBA CX2 Plus Wristband, as well as their entire product line. The company will offer fans behind-the-scenes access to the WNBA All-Star and WNBA Finals, including dedicated viewing areas and access to pre and post game action with three-time WNBA MVP and four-time Olympic gold medal winner, Lisa Leslie, who is also a member of the CieAura Advisory Board. Additionally the license and marketing agreement will enable CieAura to offer unique packages for WNBA games and events, including tickets, access to WNBA-themed hospitality events and opportunities to meet other WNBA Legends and Players.

CieAura Founder & CEO, Ken Rasner says, “I’m very pleased that such elite brands as the NBA and WNBA recognize the value in partnering with CieAura. Our products are a natural fit for both the players and the fans of these leagues. Energy, Mental Focus and Clarity, Balance and Stamina...That is what our NBA & WNBA wristbands provide at the highest level. We are already seeing an increased level of engagement from our sales force and I’m confident this partnership will continue to be a great asset to our growth as a global brand moving forward.”
